District 31 USWA Women’s Conference bus

Date Created: undated

Donor: Roberta Wood

Media Type: Photograph

Language: English

Backstory:

From Roberta Wood: “We made the bus banner ourselves with stick-on letters purchased at Gitter and Siovic. As the bus rode down the highway, the letters one by one detatched and flew off. By the time we got back, banner was blank. Woman on right is Rosemarie Rios who worked at Alloy Bar Mill with me as a laborer. We were hired about the same time. I am the godmother of her daughter Jessica.”
